Directed by and starring Vincent Gargiulo, The Dark Crusader (2025) is an absurdist romantic comedy musical. The story follows a self-proclaimed premier superhero from Stockton who experiences an ego crisis. While battling chronic back pain from an old injury, he must watch his girlfriend, Ratwoman, rise to major stardom while he is stuck working at an amusement park and doing open mic stand-up comedy nights.
