I love Talking Heads to death but also must admit that this is their "weakest" music video of all. Not because it's bad (it's not) but due to a serious of issues related with their non presence except for the audio, and the poor filmmaking style and concept used. It shows a group of black dancers performing a series of great street dance choreographies and action related with poverty, criminality and some seduction. The dance moves are first rate as they were all directed and choreographed by Toni Basil ("Hey Mickey") and it makes a fine combination with the music, its sound and repetitive patterns. But...

It's very weird looking, with those creepy editing effects and cheap camera work that are simply unappealing - especially if compared with all the other videos made by the Heads in the 1980's, with a great majority of them being funny and artistic works. No mystery as to why people don't know much about this one made for "Crosseyed and Painless". Won't count it as one of my favorite songs of theirs, but there's nothing wrong with it and that's why it gets a positive note related with the video. 6/10.
