It took cinematographer Rain Frances and director Alexander Julien two months before capturing a proper blood-orange and pink sunset in August 2018. The pair went out on several video-shoots at dusk during that time period, but often ran into complications, such as lack of focus, equipment dying while filming, and even tourist sneaking into the shots. Several unused edits of the video were made during that two-month period, compiled from various footage filmed during that summer.
