Watched the movie at its premiere on Tallinns Black nights festival. Enjoyed it a lot! It's nuanced body horror that packs a lot of subtext between the lines. It's a family drama (daughter coming out), it's a film about inevitability of death - all that happening at the backdrop of a decaying Canadian rural town.

It was a rollercoaster ride, I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie, the suspense was non stop. Cinematography was solid as well as directing and acting.

A definite must watch for a fan of horror. If you enjoyed films like The Substance, this one is going to resonate with you - and it has way more depth.
