Tip Top Entertainment, the label that brought to America many a worthwhile Luca Damiano and Joe D'Amato hardcore vehicle, has an additional series of true junkers, of which "Sunflower Lady" is a typical example. It wastes Nikki Anderson in a lousy story of a porn producer visiting Budapest to do some casting.

The old coot in that central role doesn't even get a screen credit, but gets to do plenty of humping over the course of nearly an hour and a half. He never does make a movie, making it seem as if the whole thing is a ruse so that he can bed lovely Eastern European ladies without paying for it, something of a XXX counterpoint to Mel Brooks' "The Producers".

Zenza Raggi plays his Johnny-on-the-spot, who gets the girls to "audition". A director credited as "Daniel Holton" slaps the sex scenes together arbitrarily, with billed (and overworked) stars David Perry and Frank Gun treated to a d.p.-laden threesome with one of the starlets that kills off a reel or two.
