Walter is an animated feature that lands somewhere in the middle for me. It has enough going on to remain watchable, but not enough force to become genuinely memorable. The trouble is that the stronger ideas never quite turn into a stronger whole. As a series, it also asks for more time than the material consistently earns. Five stars. Perfectly average, for better and worse.
