Goofs
There are a ton of anachronisms in this series- mostly the use of expressions, concepts and language that were not used until the late 20th and early 21st centuries. However, this one had too many instances in Sophie Lennon's routine that would not have been allowed on TV in 1959, particularly about her gay husband. Not only that, but most of the audience would not understand what she meant by gay.
