How is the overall rating for this show not higher?

Khaani is a heart- wrenching story captured beautifully by so many stand out performances from several members of the cast. The sound track is one of the best I've heard on a Pakistani drama. I have watched many other Pakistani dramas rated as 9 and above on and none compare to Khaani.

Urdu cinema, especially in Pakistan, is known for its poetic dialogue, musical traditions, and melodrama, often exploring romance, morality, and class. Historically, it thrived on musicals and romances that shaped national identity. In recent decades, it has undergone a revival, balancing popular appeal with more socially conscious storytelling.
