The director employs blatant use of R-Y-B and R-G-B color scheme. The colors yellow, blue and green are used in their saturated and desaturated shades. The color red, used to symbolize love and alternatively, a bond; remains constant in its saturated shade and is shown in the form of roses. The old couple is styled in desaturated shade on their clothes while the young men are styled in saturated shade of blue and red. The only female character in the short film, an old lady, is presented in a saree in cyan color which is a mix of blue and green. The walls of the house of the old couple are a desaturated shade of yellow. Since the short film revolves around food and cooking, the four principal colors of red, yellow, blue and green are also depicted with the use of vegetables, spices, utensils, aprons, etc.
