The Loway and Mr.Hand Movie

The film was originally planned for a theatrical release and Alex David wrote a letter to Australian film distribution company Roadshow Films with a DVD copy of the movie and told his mum to mail it, hoping to secure them as a distributor. His mum claimed to have sent it at the time, but 6 years later when David and his family were cleaning out the house his dad gave him the DVD back, and David was confused and thought that Roadshow had sent it back for being too unprofessional, without sending a letter explaining that they didn't wanna distribute it. But then when Alex David brought it up to his family years later, his mum admitted that she never actually sent the letter and lied about it just so she wouldn't crush his dreams.
