An intense drama on the border between the US and Mexico. This thriller follows a working class family in a small border town in Texas. Jim (Michael Ray Escamilla) and Bee (Bre Blair) are struggling to keep up with the rising medical costs of their son's cancer. When a new treatment costs $ 250,000, Jim decides to do whatever it takes to get the money, even if it means smuggling drugs across the border. This choice can mean life and death. "Swamp Lion" is a beautifully photographed work that explores how far a family will go to save their child. A vibrant and well-played neo-western that asks the question of what is right and wrong.
