Young and Reckless

In 2013, Dirk was contacted by a third party to write a television series. A cast and crew was soon found and Dirk's acting students participated in the rehearsals many times, but after three days of shooting, Dirk and producer Yoeri had to call it quits after it turned out the third party wasn't honoring his contract and wasn't paying anyone. Dirk waited another 4 years before rewriting a few scenes to change the location from Ghent to Antwerp and got a new cast together comprised largely of his acting students.
