Sexy song, fine video without excessive appeals

Something of a classic 1980's hit, "So Alive" is one of those seductive sexy songs that certain knows how to create a great mood for moments of intimacy and pleasure.

Love and Rockets video for the single works a little with such notions, though audiences don't get to see any action revolving band members falling under the charms of a beautiful woman. The band is there performing the song, lights glowing in the slightly dark stage, the movements of colors happen from time to time, and as for the ladies the most you'll see are the long legs walking in some shots apart. No need to sell a bigger idea of excitment it works in audiences imaginations as they listen to the words spoken by the singer.

While this particular clip didn't marked me all that much, "So Alive" did become memorable for its inclusion in many film soundtracks out there. Highly memorable - if not unforgettable - in "The Rules of Attraction" with Ian Somerhalder pleasuring himself while dreaming of some wild action with the character played by James Van Der Beek. Imagination flying high, the scene works brilliantly with such song. 8/10.
