What I always loved about the Tony Awards is the entertainment of displaying various musical performances. The Tony Awards is usually about the Broadway season. Sadly there was no exciting musical except Bette Midler in "Hello, Dolly!," and she won a Tony award for it. Unfortunately Bette didn't perform but presented one. I watched the show and was saddened by the season overall. Broadway tickets are too expensive for me and most people. Usually the Tony Awards have a cornucopia of plays and musicals. Kevin Spacey did a fine job in hosting and performing in the show. Last year was all about Hamilton. This year had five American playwrights nominating for new play. Playwrights introduced their plays. The Tonys usually showcase the best of the season which wasn't very much anyway.

The music genre features stories showcasing musical performances, music-related documentaries and recordings of live concerts and music festivals.
