It feels somewhat disappointing, almost like watching an extended trailer. 1. Where and when did I see actor Lee Hak-joo before? He has such a familiar face. 2. Actress Lee Sang-hee is the older sister from "Our Love Story"! Her acting is truly so amazing. 3. What is genuinely terrifying about cults is that they make you empathize and understand without even realizing it yourself. It is a massive psychological fraud. You never perceive anything as strange on your own, and instead classify everything outside as the whispers of Satan. 4. The shot of the back of the figure standing in front of the mother's burning mummy-the visual composition is quite nice. Directed by Kim Young-je, the 2017 South Korean mystery thriller short film "Where Nobody Can Go" delves into the eerie, suffocating grasp of religious fanaticism, following an unsettling confrontation where unresolved trauma, sinister beliefs, and family tragedy collide in a tense and disturbing atmosphere.
