One of the many tracks from British pop duo Eurythmics to be included in Michael Radford's classic "Nineteen-Eighty-Four" (such score replaced by Dominic Muldowney instrumentals), "Julia" is one of the most beautiful acts in terms of music and music videos as well.

Basically, it's a solo performance of lead singer Annie Lennox, with a predominent vision of her face, her magnificent blue eyes, and a gentle manner in which she acts out while singing about the character played by Suzanna Hamilton, the one who opens Winston Smith's eyes (John Hurt) to the possibilities of love amidst the tyranny and opression of the totalistic future of Oceania. Lennox sings like an angel and can't never go wrong.

It's not necessarily one of my favorite tracks from the film and the group, but it's certainly one of the most memorable as I heard Eurythmics and Muldowney scores several times, and this one, along with the frantic "Sexcrime" are the few ones who managed to get a music video made. It's all good. 7/10.
