In Jackie's flashback story about Teddy, he is carrying a boarding pass from Ferris Air, which is a nod to the company run by Carol Ferris, the sometimes-paramour of earth's first Green Lantern, and boss of his alter-ego Hal Jordan. She is also the sometimes-alter-ego of Star Sapphire, an early GL villain, recently retconned as a more heroic wielder of the Violet Lantern, which represents the power of Love in the Emotional Spectrum.
