Nica Noelle's vicarious career arc continues at her Icon Male label with the second volume of this series, examining arrangements between older guys and the young studs they finance (in return for sexual favors). It sound seamier than it plays, but Nica knows a dramatic situation when she sees one.

Opening vignette packs the biggest wallop, as Wolf Hudson (a favorite player for Nica for many years now) rebels at the mercenary attitude Nick Capra takes toward him. He's tired of being treated just as some sort of hired cock, and the violent episode sort of devolves into tough love, as Wolf the bad boy is only seeking elusive affection. This is the sort of theme Nica could have handled in either of her previous careers piloting boy/girl or girl/girl movies, but it seems especially attuned (with its violent aspects) to her current boy/boy genre.

Nick reappears in a different role, shooting pool in a bar where he picks up young Ethan. This story takes a surprising turn, as Nick turns out to be Mr. Nice Guy, sort of paying it forward (please don't imagine Kevin Spacey, that would turn anyone off) as he offers to fund the kid's college tuition after humping him. This is to celebrate the kind deed some old guy did for Nick many years ago. How you take this story is a matter of personal taste, but I don't doubt Nica's sincerity.

Less serious is a more exploitational segment involving Nica regulars Adam Russo and Brandon Wilde. It's a case of role-playing with plenty of "Oh, daddy!" outbursts in the romance, clearly an excuse to give the fans another dose of young favorite Wilde. Finale has Brandon making out with Adam's son Andrew Fitch - a same-age segment bringing the show full circle.
