Door 1 of Five Doors to Hell isn't exactly good horror, but it's definitely entertaining. This anthology entry lands squarely in the "so bad it's good" category, where weak scripts, questionable directing, clumsy storytelling, and uneven acting somehow combine into something surprisingly watchable.

The horror elements rarely feel scary, but the unintentional comedy keeps things moving. Between the over the top inbred hillbilly characters and antagonists so irritating you're practically cheering for their demise, the film manages to stay entertaining even when it's objectively falling apart.

No spoilers here, but if you're in the mood for low budget horror that delivers laughs instead of fear, Door 1 is worth opening at least once. When horror fails this hard, it accidentally becomes comedy.
