Pioneer Pictures Incorporated collaborated with Technicolor technologies in an attempt to colorize many of the frames via Technicolor No. III color process. This was a two-color process with beam splitter and dye transfer onto blank film. This film used dramatizations of several Frederic Remington paintings that used watercolors and oil to depict western american art.
