And the thing that makes "Kingpin" so funny is that it's fearless. It will do ANYTHING for a laugh and be as offensive as necessary along the way, and to create some truly weirdo characters. And I like the way Harrelson and Murray and Quaid sacrificed any shred of vanity while making their characters into world-class doofuses. Vanessa Angel is great to look at, but she's funny too. - Gene Siskel - Host: And let me tell you, the directors, I'm speaking right to the guys... here's what it was like in our screening room- we never talk about this. BIG laughs. Every single time you tried to make us laugh, we laughed. BIG laughs. It was thrilling to hear that. I'd say the first twenty-five jokes in the picture-
