This was a very educational documentary about Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa, but also taught me about the history of Ireland's struggle for independence. I grew up in the NY area in the 1970s, and remember learning about the Troubles in Northern Ireland as the young grandson of an Irishman. Learning about Jeremiah's struggles more than a century earlier helped me better understand the roots of the Troubles, and how important he and his compatriots were to the struggling Irish people at the time. Next time I'm in Queens NY, I'll be sure to seek out the monument to the Fenians, and when I return to Dublin, Potato Rock will be one of my stops.
