The show's second season was in the planning stages, but didn't happen due to disagreements between Dentsu and DHX.
The show premiered around the time Mega Man 11 (2018) was being finished. One month after Mega Man Dual Override (2027) was revealed, a 2D pilot of the show was uploaded on YouTube.
