Stardew valley is exceptional- if you know what to do. If you don't actively seek things to do you can get bored easily, when you have things to do it's in my opinion one of the best games of all time, the small details Easter eggs and little rare items are really fun and the core gameplay is simply brilliant, the gameplay loop of getting more money is really fun and building your farming empire is great, going from nothing to hundreds of kegs racking in hundreds of thousands a day is the best feeling of progression I've got from any game. Befriending the villagers is really fun as well, with cutscenes showing you all the characters personalities and their favoured gifts show even more about them. It is truly a great game but if you don't know what to do you can get bored very easily. 10/10.
