Prior to this episode, Pete Gardner (Darryl) had never worked with a choreographer and he was nervous about dancing. However, his energy level was so high that choreographer Kathryn Burns made him the dance captain.

Goofs
After exchanging the ring holder, Rebecca and her mother leave the store and Rebecca is carrying a cardboard box. She puts it down to tell her mother why she moved to California, just as the PA announces that Josh Chan is going to dance. There's a cut to Josh, and then back to Rebecca, and she's still holding the box. Then a cut to Josh, and back to Rebecca, and now the box is on the ground again.
