There's a dreamy quality to MAKE IT PRECIOUS, titled by Anjali Kara to suggest a kind of New Age or soft side to XXX action. It's strictly boy/girl but shares with the burgeoning (and influential) lesbian sex video movement a different approach to explicit sex depiction in Adult Entertainment.

Harking back to the original targeting of the couples audience, Kara is able to satisfy the consumer's need for strong stuff, in a world permeated by soft-core sex imagery wherever you look, by her mandatory inclusion of femme models with mouth-watering huge breasts, and a complement of large, always hard dicks from the boys. But the mood is kept light, romantic, even "mushy" at times, an overall combination that sounds contradictory, but works exceedlngly well in the hands of a master (or mistress in this case).

Bottom line is that Kara and few others seem to understand the basic difference between explicit sex and eroticism; they are not mutually exclusive as some "sexploitation" or soft-core fanatics try to contend, but there is definitely an art to preserving a feature or scene's inherent eroticism without drowning it out by too much (and too repetitive) generic sexual content.
