I can assure you, this movie is a true story. Jamie Parks is actually my uncle. He and his wife, Lynn, are still together all these years later. Their daughter, Annalyn, went to culinary school.

This wonderful movie includes accounts from Jamie and Lynn, Jamie's sister Jodi, Jamie's two brothers Jason and Michael, and Lynn's mother as well as some others.

If you haven't seen this movie, you must. It shows the unconditional love and support that Jamie kept for Lynn throughout all of it. Jamie and Lynn still run daily, though they don't join many races anymore. They were very recently in a marathon, I'm not sure which though.

The documentary is a form of non-fiction storytelling that aims to present factual information, insights, and perspectives on real-world subjects, events, issues, or people. Documentaries can cover a wide range of topics, including history, science, culture, social issues, nature, biographies, and more.
