Two gunmen find themselves facing off against a gang of outlaws in a small village. This South African-style western recalls the most ramshackle "spaghetti" productions of the '60s and '70s; whereas backdrops from the Lazio region served as improvised frontier villages in those low-budget Italian productions, here the deep African countryside offers similarly improbable landscapes, with a few wooden sets creating the illusion of a -settlement. The cast, featuring several well-known character actors of the era, is nonetheless committed, and some shots even prove interesting; the movie's relatively tight running time keeps things from getting too boring. It is definitely unconventional, but it has its own appeal.
