This movie has all it needs to be a great show. The story concept is good. Anna, played by Bella Mraz, is being hunted by a rival Mafia gang. Her father, head of the top Mafia group, calls his friend Chris, played by Nick Puya, to protect his daughter. Anna wants to escape Chris' control, so she sets out to seduce him. Along the way, they fall in love.

In addition to the bones of a good movie, there are the really good actors. Nick Puya is his usual tough guy with a soft side. His voice is steel covered in velvet. Bella Mraz was also good as Anna, showing the angst she felt for her father and Chris. The supporting cast wasn't named in the version I viewed, but they are also good.

So with a good story and a great cast, what can be missing? A fully developed story, that's what. This show only runs 55 minutes. That allowed the development of the story to the point where the two protagonists were driving each other crazy, but not enough to show any development toward the love that they confessed very quickly. The death of Chris's wife is not explained. His previous life is not mentioned. All of these things are simply dropped in during the last few minutes of the show.
