Showtime revolves around the Star Power of Vice Ganda. Anne Curtis serve as an excellent foil to Vice's comic schemes, magnifying his star 1000 times further. Jhong is a good sidekick. Everyone else, though veeeerrrrryyyy likeable, are replaceable.

Showtime, like its main attraction, Vice Ganda, has had up and downs. Miss Q&A, Lookalike, and Expecially for You are top tier but the overwrought TNT is awful, boring, and unbearable at this point.

Speaking of Vice, he is a mixed bag. On one hand, he is so funny, talented, and charismatic. On the other hand, he comes off as a person on a high horse especially on the recent issue with the Expecially for You contestant. I can forgive him for joking about rape, weight, appearance, etc. But to not only outright shame a contestant but also refuse to apologize to him even after the fact is unacceptable.

Though some things leave a sour patch to my tastebuds, it's still a solid 8/10 bc of the sheer entertainment and star power Vice, Anne, and Jhong provide.
