Streaming Stars, Then and Now

ME/DEA (/mi-'dea/ - "ME" as in moi, myself from Corneille's depiction of Medea, and "DEA" as the Latin word for Goddess). An experimental short film that reconstructs the ancient myth. Drawing inspiration from the masterful texts of Euripides, Seneca, and Pierre Corneille, serving as a cinematic homage to Pier Paolo Pasolini and Lars Von Trier and driven by a visceral multilingual soundscape, we follow a Medea figure who, stripped of her homeland, transforms into the very monster a hostile society demands her to be.
