Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Waiting for the state of affairs in our world to change for the better is like waiting for paint to dry. In the meantime, I have turned to comedy so I can laugh to keep from crying. Wanda Sykes is a very funny comedian and her special "Legacy" was just what the doctor ordered. The thing I like about her is her delivery and her ability to tell a story. It felt intimate and not like a person putting on a performance. I couldn't help but imagine her as the eccentric aunt at the cookout cracking jokes. While she did touch on some current events that I was trying to take my mind off of, it was nice to have a reason to laugh about an otherwise horrible situation.
