Filmed in black and white and based on a 1978 essay titled 'Film and Dreams' by Vlada Petric (an expert on Soviet cinema) writer/director Gerald Fox's 2025 'documentary' feature film is a trip through the dream worlds silent cinema tried to evoke through mood and atmosphere using various technical devices such as slow-mo, editing, lighting and multiple imagery. Vlada (played by Goran Kostic) goes on a dreamlike journey accompanied by clips from various films including 'Nosferatu', 'Menilmontant' and 'A Page of Madness', which are used to expound 'oneiric film theory', with Luis Bunuel quoted as refering to dreams as the first cinema invented by humans.
