It's so sad. First, I was misled because when I first saw the cover art for this movie, it wasn't the right artwork, and they used the cover for the film Companion, which was millennia ahead of this film. The acting was plastic and static. The robots moved with a very intentional, slow, almost monotonous pace and spoke with a droning voice like something out of the 70s. Yet they couldn't quite get the robot's movement right, but they blinked repeatedly. That just leaves me stuck in the uncanny valley, and I just can't do it with this film. It looks like it was shot on a high-end video camera from home. There was no dubbing for the soundtrack or anything. This speech sounds like it's got a room-style reverb shot. Basically, the audio sounded like it was not being corrected from the video camera. I just can't find a redeeming quality about this film. Even the concept is recycled. Don't waste your time, and I hate giving bad reviews, but yeah, this one was just bad. It was beyond bad.
