A minimalist horror that avoids jump scares

I read somewhere that Unwanted is a psychological horror short about isolation, desperation, and the fear of being left behind. It seems to explore the outcasts of society-those with nowhere to go, pushed to their limits and forced to make impossible choices. While in a way all of this is true, I feel there might be another layer here-a more paranormal one.

Some things are intentionally left vague, allowing viewers to interpret the possible supernatural presence however they wish. But if I had to guess, I would personally put my money on a paranormal explanation.

In any case, the story could almost pass as an urban horror legend-maybe it even is one, who knows? It's quite decent for its genre and format: a horror short running less than four minutes. It doesn't even rely on jump scares, which is always a good sign.
