Newton's 3rd Law is one of those rare crime thrillers that rewards patience. What begins as a seemingly straightforward investigation gradually develops into a complex web of secrets, past decisions and unexpected consequences.

The biggest strength of the movie is its central idea: every action has a reaction. The title isn't simply a clever reference to physics; the concept runs through the entire story, showing how actions committed years ago can return with consequences nobody expected.

The screenplay carefully connects different characters and events without revealing everything too early. The investigation creates genuine curiosity, and as the pieces slowly come together, you begin to understand why seemingly insignificant moments were included. The final stretch and revelations make the journey particularly satisfying.

Sumanth gives a controlled and convincing performance as the investigator, avoiding unnecessary heroism and allowing the character to feel believable. Jagapathi Babu brings tremendous presence whenever he appears, while Srinivas Avasarala and the supporting cast add further depth to the mystery.

Yes, the narration is deliberately slow in places, especially during the investigation, but viewers who enjoy intelligent, slow-burn crime mysteries should appreciate the approach.

Most importantly, the movie actually makes you think after it ends. It explores crime, justice, karma and the consequences of human choices while still functioning as an engaging mystery.

A clever concept, strong performances, an intriguing investigation and a rewarding climax. An underrated thriller that deserves a much wider audience. Highly recommended.
