8.2?! For THAT?!

Sorry, but that's actually embarrassing. Like when a dumb kid forges their grades to give themselves an A. This was a D- at its very best.

That said, I will concede that I do think there's some talent among the ranks of the British SNL. Al Roberts is a brilliant performer, but the fact he's only involved as a scribe and not a regular cast member feels like a staggering misstep in production, he elevates everything he's in so much he might actually have rendered this thing watchable. Missed opportunity.

I digress. Another dud. This isn't working. It doesn't even feel as though it's been made for a British audience - utterly devoid of subtlety and quality. We deserve better.
