This edition of the March of Time concerns itself with Greece: how it suffered during the Second World War, how it was attempting to recover from social and political unrest caused by a plethora of underground groups of every stripe from royalist to Communist, and what was being done at the time to help secure a future for the country.

Eighty years have demonstrated the rocky and erratic progress of Greece, from Britain conducting war against the communist guerillas, to the takeover by the Generals in the 1960s, to their eventual ouster decades later. As I write this, Greece is part of Europe, sustained by the help of its richer neighbors. Let's all wish them well.
