Gotta love that title; merely OK incest vignettes

All I know about prolific pornographer Eddie Powell is from a BTS short subject in which he goes ape over his new Dodge Challenger -that's my kind of guy, even though I bought mine in 1971. This tongue-in-cheek titled XXX feature is fairly assembly-line, in keeping with Powell's numerous fake-incest porn he cranks out either as director or as Jacky St. James's cameraman.

Most interesting to me was Episode #2, odd in and of itself but even odder in historical context. Willow Hayes, she of the tall, willowy build and plain-Jane pale visage, asks her step-brother Bruce Venture to help her remove a pair of mysterious objects lodged in her vagina. She apparently had been reading Mario Puzo's THE GODFATHER, because she inserted the marble-size ceramic things in an effort to tighten herself up (James Caan -be alerted!). 

After considerable clinical maneuvering we see Bruce pop the second one out successfully, and not unlike ben wah balls this act turns both siblings on and they hump like crazy. Noteworthy is early on in the sex he hoists her up in the air Henry Miller-fashion, making me wonder whether any of today's porn audience had ever read that great writer's classic erotic (and political) works like NEXUS, PLEXUS and SEXUS plus the TROPIC series, or were they as illiterate in their appreciation of XXX cinema as Tarantino, Kevin Smith and Jules Jordan are (based on their renaissance education consisting essentially of working as video store clerks).

(Having prurient interests can be good for one's education - I'm old enough to have read Orwell's 1984 based on wanting to enjoy the dirty parts - that certainly paid off.)

The Willow/Bruce encounter would be just another notch on the big fella's sexual belt if not for the fact that recently Willow had crossed the hair barrier, starring in MY SISTER/MY LOVER for Jacky St. James sporting a thick hairy beaver and even hairy armpits. The contrast with her well-groomed and well-madeup incarnation in PUSSY is striking.

Other segments are routine: Bro Erik Everhard makes merciless fun of sis Mila Blaze, claiming the entire football team has had its way with her and told him she has a tight pussy. She counters that he is known on campus as Mr. Wedge, and after all the trash talk the ill- matched duo make love, ending with a hardly romantic facial. As in all the segments of PUSSY, the actors talk a good game but the huge cocks slide in and out of the title orifices with such ease that perhaps director Powell needed a partner named Pressburger to remind him of the show's premise.

Khloe Krush (winner of this week's alliteration award) gets off the phone after her boyfriend breaks up with her because, yes, her pussy's too small. Who writes these things? - oh, I forgot that at this level there is no screenplay credit. She demands that bro Mick Blue (old enough to be her daddy) help loosen her up. He chivalrously suggests she try a dildo or three or four of her fingers, but surprise! she rejects those options and insists on his long, hard one, noting to Mick "It's for a good cause". That's the type of pervy inversion of values that permeates this line of videos and basically separates the fans from the boys (or are the fans the boys, now I'm confused).

Finale brings back The Animal himself, Bruce Venture to service a different sister from a different fantasy world, Nikki Bell. His behavior is the same as before, only this time he is a pervert, waking up his sister, quietly asleep and minding her own business, by inserting his fingers in her vagina. To hear the big lunk not even alibi it but essentially hand her the "You know you want it" line shows these videos are not merely politically incorrect but as misogynistic as vintage porn. I found this particular vignette offensive, not for the usual reasons but rather because it offended by notion of fair play. Just because you refuse to acknowledge your writing (screenplay) doesn't give you license to be crude and idiotic. I waste plenty of time unearthing credits and correcting them for IMDb, and wouldn't mind pinning the blame for PUSSY on somebody.
