Its exactly what you would expect from just a dash

After waiting years for Just a Dash season 3, it finally happened. This time they clearly had a budget, and they used it well.

This feels much closer to the team's original vision for Just a Dash.

If you're expecting a straight cooking show, it isn't and it never has been. It's a comedy cooking show. It's closer to what Top Gear became over time. Less about the cars, more about the chemistry and the fun the team had together.

That's what this is, but with food.

If you want structured, informative cooking videos, Matty has hundreds of those on YouTube. Just a Dash has never really been about that, and that's a good thing.

If you want a serial cooking show with strong comedy, and a crew who clearly enjoy making videos and messing around, with cooking as the base, this is it.

If you already know the basics of cooking, the food here is solid and easy enough to follow. But if you're looking for a beginner guide, this isn't it. It's not focused on detailed instruction. There are plenty of slow, step-by-step cooking videos out there if that's what you want.

Just a Dash does food their way. Season 3 is easily their peak. Does food take a back seat in some episodes? Sure. Making devilled eggs on a plane is about as simple as it gets.

Michelle is also really coming into her own. It's great seeing her take on a bigger role. At this point, the show runs on the dynamic between Michelle and Matty.

Hopefully there's a season 4. Maybe stop staring in The Bear and focus on this instead.
