One can't go wrong with the classic The Mamas and the Papas song "Monday Monday" and The Adventures version quite proves it. They managed to do it well, very in tune with the pop/rock sound of the 1990's without betraying the original song or stretching it to some weird fashion. Always a great singer, Terry Sharpe does it well the main part, but it's impossible to forget the junction of four voices in full harmony. But enough with comparisons, at least the band made a music video, one of their final efforts because the album in which was released didn't sell much and was widely panned, then they broke up, returning with a new album in 2025.

Apart from their nice cover, the video is so-and-so if compared with their previous videos with band's own material. It's a band performance on a set, with foggy images of people walking around, expressing the idea of routine (how we start a week, with the mondays) and a calendar showing the days of the week. Those who sing get some close-up shots, those who play appear here and there, camera moving all the time. The sucession of images are very routinal and repetitive, as usually goes with group performance if the director doesn't try anything innovative or something to catch our attention.

It's cool, though. 7/10.
