So not found footage - don't be afraid. No pun intended of obviously, neither the summary headline nor the last sentence. The pacing can be quite challenging ... you have to be up to the task.

There are quite a few stories - actually especially at the beginning it feels like it could be random short stories, rather than it being connected to a larger movie. Of course most of it will play one role or another ... and a repeated viewing surely will manifest most of what you see in the beginning .. be it drawings or characters.

It is a well done project, especially for fans of J-Horror ... it's been a while since we saw something up there with Ringu and The Eye and those other movies from back in the day. Enough twists to keep you guessing too ... especially with the who and when and whys of it all ...
