Olive Nwosu crafts a tense and vibrant about the Lagos world and the conflicting aspects about hustling, driving, and womanhood. Nwosu explores these themes with ease, ambitious takes, and political setbacks throughout. Using colorful production, camerawork, and atmospheres throughout, it helps establish the world of Lagos and what the characters are encountering and dealing with at the same time. Alongside with the sound designs and music, Nwosu doesn't shy away from being show but don't tell aspect, as she uses imagery and sound to display the themes throughout without feeling forced, cheesy or predictable.

The characters and conversations between one another felt genuine and real. Many of the characters are seen as tense, unlikeable and likable, and flawed, but these characters are engaging because the writing Nwosu provides brings light to their personalities, goals, and conflicts they encounter with. Leading to some both interesting dynamics, emotions, and decisions made throughout. The performances from the cast are all pretty good, particularly Jessica Gabriel's Ujah as Ujah's performance was vibrant, loud, and intense within her character and surroundings.

The camera presentation being old-style vibes really helps establish the tone and gritty nature. Alongside with the good dialogue and at times, comedic dramatic elements within the narrative. There are some small faults as some of the pacing could be improved, and the third act does feel a little somewhat abrupt. But overall, Nwosu first debut feature is a strong point and well-written.

Dramas delve into the complexities of human life, often exploring themes of love, loss, morality, societal issues, personal growth, with the aim to evoke an emotional response from the audience by presenting relatable and thought-provoking stories.
