Day 1 of the OFFICIAL Pasadena Livestock and Rodeo BBQ Cook off. This is the FIRST COOK OFF for GHETTO KITCHEN and it's cooking team GHETTO KITCHEN KOOKERS. They got 22nd place for the Venison Meatloaf, the Meatloaf made from Episode 1 with Ben Verkilen. The collaboration with local small business owners created a GREAT ENVIRONMENT. Win or Lose, the COOKING TEAM definitely won the hearts of all that attended the FIRST OFFICIAL DAY of the PLSR BBQ COOKOFF.

It's the FINAL DAY of the PLSR BBQ Cook off. It's time for the BRISKET turn in. We wrap up the end of GHETTO KITCHEN KOOKERS FIRST BBQ ADVENTURE. It's the FIRST day for a NEW JOURNEY. Watch as they celebrate a newfound respect and knowledge of TEXAS COMPETITION BBQ.

As the year ends, in the EPIC FIRST YEAR for the GHETTO KITCHEN KOOKERS, they didn't realize they were participating in an OFFICIAL IBCA BBQ competition. It was a small and quaint event. All participants were competing with NO ONLY Veteran Cookers, but alongside with VETERANS OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY. It was with GEAT PLEASURE for the GHETTO KITCHEN KOOKERS to participate in a great cause. GKK placed 2nd for the COVENANT BEER TROPHY. All proceeds went to support the local community. THAT'S what Ghetto Kitchen is about.
