"A scrappy debut that proves passion doesn't retire" Look, I'm not going to pretend Stinger is going to win any VFX awards. There's a scene involving clothespins supposedly conducting electricity that had me tilting my head like a confused golden retriever. Pretty sure that's not how physics works, but honestly? I kind of loved it anyway.

What Tony Garcia lacks in budget, he makes up for in sheer determination. At 53, the man wrote, directed, AND starred in his own action film. While most of us are debating whether we're too old to start a new hobby, Garcia said "forget it" and made a whole movie. That energy is infectious.

The plot is straightforward - street dealer becomes an unwilling test subject and has to fight his way out - but it moves quickly enough that you St don't have time to overthink the logic gaps. Richard Baines delivers a surprisingly committed performance, and the practical action sequences have a gritty, DIY charm that CGI-bloated blockbusters often lack.

Is it rough around the edges? Absolutely. But there's something genuinely inspiring about watching someone chase a lifelong dream regardless of age or resources.
