Cassidy just lost her best friend, Blu in a car accident. Before she heads to bed after Blu's memorial dinner, she realizes she's out her sleep medication to help reduce her symptoms of parasomnia. As she tries to fall asleep, she's lured out of bed by strange noises, and startling spots Blu outside of her window. Cassidy tries to catch up, but she eventually loses sight of her. While trying to track her down, she becomes emerged in a dream state of grief, memory and guilt, forcing her to confront what really happened. When Cassidy returns home and heads back to bed, she realizes she hasn't truly woken up just yet.
