Shiva, a 26-year-old Indian-American, adopted by a Caucasian Christian family, is faced with an existential crisis of identity and faith, fueled by a life-threatening diagnosis. While struggling with his own mortality, Shiva sustains himself by dealing cheap cocaine alongside his long-time foster brother, Logan Cain. Logan inserts himself into Shiva's life as the antithesis of Shiva's spiritual and virtuous values.
