The first film deals with the Hungarian victims of rape during the Soviet occupation of Hungary during World War II, and the sequel deals with the children and grandchildren of victims of Soviet soldiers' brutality against Hungarian women and how they successfully or unsuccessfully processed the trauma. The head of the Gulág Foundation, inherited this organization from her mother, and she works tirelessly to make the past accessible to the future generation.

Rape of women is a form of warfare in war, but perhaps the most brutal in this regard were the Soviet soldiers who invaded Hungary in 1945. According to data from venereal disease care workers of the time, hundreds of thousands of Hungarian women were raped. Although the infamy committed by Soviet soldiers is well known, everyone keeps quiet about it; the victims do not want to talk about the violence, often keeping it a secret even from their families.

Every story began the same way: innocent civilians fled to basements and attics to escape the advancing army, girls disfigured themselves to make themselves less desirable. Then, suddenly, drunken soldiers appeared at the door and in a matter of seconds, abducted the women. Among the victims were those who later went mad from shame or died from injuries caused by the violence.

Jolán Pintér, the head of the Gulag Foundation, inherited this organization from his mother, Magdolna Pintér Károlyné Rohr. Magdolna Rohr was raped by Soviet soldiers at the age of fifteen, and was taken to the Gulag as a political prisoner a year later and at the age of sixteen, where she suffered and was imprisoned for nine years. Although Jolán's parents were rehabilitated by the communists in 1960, they were only tolerated elements of society until 1990. After the death of her parents, Jolán Pintér continues her parents' work and works tirelessly to make the past known to future generations.
