The day before the Underworld Saga's release date was announced was April Fool's Day. In the spirit of the holiday, Jorge Rivera-Herrans made a joke version of "Monster" after claiming that the original version was too dark and had to be scrapped. The joke version has since become a meme throughout the fandom.
