The puppy who plays young Gohan is actually named 'Kori The Sun' and was rescued by Rescue Paws (Hua Hin) and was first fostered, then adopted to a forever home by The Adoptable Puppy Cafe (Bangkok / HuaHin).

Kori The Sun was found only days old with seven siblings lying next to their mother who had been callously poisoned.

The story of the film truly carries a real message.
